20Twenty Kitchen was created by chef Alex Stickland in the beginning of 2020 in lockdown, when Alex and his girlfriend started baking to pass the time (there may have been a banana bread made). Chef Stickland needed a project and he set out to make the best edible vegan cookie dough he could. As the pandemic raged on, and the BLM movement began peaceful protests just outside his door, he began passing out cookies to protesters. It was then that 20Twenty Kitchen was born, an opportunity to not only give back and help those in need, but to also gain perspective and focus on what was really important. Baking and eating together means taking time to share with family and friends, and that’s the real heart and movement of 20Twenty Kitchen.
